Privacy Policy
Objet is a camera-based visual diary. It is designed to keep your content on your own device. We do not operate servers that store your photos or diary entries, and we never sell your data.
What the app handles
- Photos & cutouts — Photos you take and their background-removed cutouts are stored locally on your device. When you choose to, copies may be saved to your device's photo gallery. They are not uploaded to us.
- Diary notes & weather — Text and weather you add are stored locally on your device.
- Usage analytics — We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used (e.g. app opens, captures, sharing). This sends anonymous usage events and device identifiers to Google. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Permissions
- Camera — to take photos of objects.
- Photos / Storage — to save cutouts to your gallery.
Data retention & deletion
Your content lives on your device. You can delete everything at any time via Settings → Delete all records, or by uninstalling the app. Analytics data is retained and managed by Google according to your Firebase/Google settings.
Children
Objet is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
